This is the poignant memoir of Rabbi Dr. Murray J. Kohn, the beloved rabbi emeritus of Vineland, NJ, professor of Holocaust Studies at Richard Stockton College of NJ, and Holocaust survivor of Auschwitz- Birkenau concentration camp. Murray endured over two years in Auschwitz and was sent on a death march to a sub-camp of Buchenwald. He was freed at Theresienstadt in Czechoslovakia by the Soviets in May 1945. Only Murray and his father had survived.
